BARBARA AUTRY HEMBY
Henderson, TN: Barbara Jean Autry Hemby age 62 passed away February 26, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born October 19, 1953 in Jackson, TN the daughter of Imogene Bullman Autry Graham of Parsons and the late Thurman Autry. She attended schools in Madison County and Chester County High School. She was married to Donnie Ray Hemby February 8, 1975. They made their home in Chester County. She was employed by I Appel Mfg. for several years and later worked for Head Start and was also a caregiver in Henderson, sitting with several people in Chester County. Mrs. Hemby was a member of the Estes Church of Christ, she was an avid reader and was always looking out for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Hemby, June 24, 2013, a son, Johnny Hemby October 22, 2010 and two brothers, Terry Autry and Michael Autry.
Mrs. Hemby is survived by a daughter, Jessica Hollin of Dallas, TX; her mother, Imogene Bullman Graham of Parsons; grandchildren, Jason Kyle Hollin, Kaitlyn Hollin and Ethan Koch and a sister, Deborah Pruitt of Scotts Hill, TN.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Bro. Jesse Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Big Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Monday at Johnson Chapel
