Barbara Hatley Burton

Barbara Hatley Burton of Ramer, TN departed this life on September 22, 2016 in Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of 61 Years, 9 Months, 3 Days. She was born December 19, 1954 in Memphis, TN the daughter of Ruth Conerly Meredith and the late Robert Earl Hatley. She was united in marriage to Danny Burton on January 3, 2005.

Barbara was a Homeless Coordinator for Southwest Human Resource Agency in Jackson, TN. She was a 1972 graduate of Messick High School in Memphis and attended UT Martin. She lived in Memphis prior to marrying Danny and moving to Ramer. Barbara was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church in Memphis. Her passion was her grandson, little Clint. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, going to Heber Springs Lake with her friends, and being with her beloved dog, Bella.

She is survived by her husband Danny Burton of Ramer, TN; a son, Clint David Morgan of Memphis, TN; a stepdaughter, Tiffany Bolton and husband John of Ft. Worth, TX; three grandchildren, Clint Morgan, Sloane Bolton, Beckett Bolton; her mother, Ruth Conerly Meredith of Ramer; two sister-in-laws, Debbie Burton and Darrell Morgan; cousins, Katherine, Gibb, and Charlie Steele; longtime friends, Jane Hogan, Bobbie Barnes, Liz Rodgers, and Jennifer Griffin; a host of extended family and friends.
