Barbara Allen, 53, of Middleton, died Saturday evening, September 30, 2006 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Mrs. Allen was born April 23, 1953 to Thomas and Geraldine Bain Doles in Bolivar, Tennessee. A homemaker and resident of Hardeman County all of her life, she enjoyed sewing, Scrabble & especially grandchildren.
Services were 2 pm Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Shackelford's Middleton chapel with George Weaver officiating. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, David Allen, whom she married July 2, 1978; two daughters, Crystal King of Selmer and April Allen of Middleton; one son, Brandon Allen of Middleton; one sister, Dora Doles of Pinson; four brothers, Jerry Doles of Bethel Springs, David Doles of Middleton, Jackie Doles of Nashville and Rodger Doles of Humboldt and two grandchildren, Daniel Johnson and Colton Allen.
