Ava Kennedy

Ava Kennedy was born November 12, 1957 in Long Beach, California the daughter of the late James O'Brine and Mary Evleyn Mullins McNew. She was united in marriage to Wayne Kennedy on June 17, 1980.Mrs. Kennedy was a sales associate in the vision center for Wal-Mart in Corinth, MS. She was a member of the Cypress Tank Church Of Christ in Selmer, Tennessee. She was active with Relay for Life, fought a long and courageous battle with cancer and loved her family and friends.Mrs. Kennedy departed this life on January 1, 2009 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 51 Years, 1 Month, 20 Days. She is survived by her husband Wayne Kennedy of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Tammy Robertson and husband Kerry Lane of Ripley, MS; a son, Jason Kennedy and wife Stacy of Ramer, TN; four grandchildren, Katie Robertson Latch and husband Jeremy, Josh Robertson, Shayne Fowler, Shelby Kennedy; a great grandson to be, Noah Latch; mother-in-law, Merle Kennedy of Ramer, TN; brother-in-law, Bill Kennedy and wife Judy of Corinth, MS; several nieces, nephews and friends.
