Author W. Robertson was born June 2, 1942 in Chewalla , Tennessee the son of the late Albert and Minnie Bee Robertson.
He was united in marriage to Katie Delonga on June 25, 1968.
Mr. Robertson was a disabled veteran and was very proud of his military career, he served his country honorably in the United States Army serving two terms in the Vietnam War. He had many hobbies, a few of his favorite were: fishing, hunting, gardening, collecting guitars, old money, knives, knife maker, and loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of the Moose Club in Rochelle, IL and played the lead guitar for the veterans and friends at the VFW in Corinth, MS.
Mr. Robertson departed this life on January 8, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 7 Months, 6 Days. He is survived by his wife Katie Robertson of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Sandra Jean Coppernall and husband Alan of Rockford, IL; two brothers, Ray Robertson and wife Tina of Guys, TN, Marlin Robertson of Hanover, IL; four sisters, Helen Meir of Corinth, MS, Nellie Smith of Ramer, TN, Alice Murphy and husband James of Rochelle, IL, Sandra Wilton and husband Melvin of Rochelle, IL; two grandchildren, Brandon and Joshua Coppernall; host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Robertson.
