Aurthur Ray Hilliard, Jr.
was born in Lorain, Ohio on January 24, 1951 the son of Ruth Furniss Hilliard and the late Aurthur Ray Hilliard, Sr.
On July 28, 1980 he was united in marriage to the former Colleen Martin, who survives.
Mr. Hilliard was self-employed and worked at various jobs.
He departed this life on February 9, 2006 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 55 years and 16 days.
Mr. Hilliard is survived by his wife, Colleen Hilliard of Savannah;
2 daughters: Stephaine Hilliard of Jacksonville, Florida and Elizabeth Hilliard of Pennsylvania; 2 sons: Aurthur Ray Hilliard, III of Michie, Tennessee and Scottie Ray Hilliard of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren; his mother, Ruth Hilliard of Ohio;
3 sisters: Gladys Hilliard, Leta Hilliard and Adamay Hilliard, all of Ohio; and his mother-in-law, Wava Martin of Savannah, Tennessee.
Mr. Hilliard was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
