AUBRY ALLEN CHANDLER
Finger, TN: Aubry Allen Chandler age 70 passed away August 6, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
He was born and reared in McNairy County near Finger, the son of the late Emanuel Riley and Minnie Sula Hysmith Chandler. He attended schools in McNairy County and in 1968 married Linda Mae Hopper. They made their home in Finger where he worked for Clean Linen Service, J & J Fabrication Shop and as a self-employed logger and log hauler.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Mae Hopper Chandler of Finger; four sons, Larry Chandler and wife Jennifer of Selmer, Bobby Chandler and wife Whitney of Finger, Jacob Chandler and wife Jackie of Finger and Joshua Chandler and wife Lydia of Bethel Springs; a daughter, Tabitha Moore of Bethel Springs; nine grandchildren; a brother, Joe Chandler of Union City and four sisters, Patricia Crowe of Finger, Leona Griswell of Finger, Loretta Miller of Finger and Brenda Wilson of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry Chandler, John Edward Chandler, and Gaylon Chandler and one grandchild, Zacharia Moore.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Ken Kitchen and Raymond Carroll officiating and burial will follow in Maggie Jones Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday.
