Artice L. Jones

Artice L. Jones departed this life on January 17, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 7 Months, 9 Days. She was born June 8, 1920 in Wenasoga, MS the daughter of the late Troy and Cora Srygley.She was united in marriage to William Warren Jones on July 18, 1944. Mr. Jones preceded her in death on September 18, 1993.Mrs. Jones was a member of the Eastview church of Christ. Her hobby was collecting bells.She is survived by her children Opal Mullins and husband Jim of Walls, MS, Betty Harville and husband Ray of Pickwick Dam, TN, Pauline Mealer of Selmer, Katie Mullins of Las Vegas, NV, Tina Naylor and husband Bobby of Memphis, and Roy Jones and wife Iva of Jackson, TN; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren. A host of extended family and friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a grandson, Perry Mullins. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
