Arnold Strawn Tyler

Arnold Strawn Tyler was born on June 1, 1937 in Adamsville, Tennessee, the son of the late Paul Clifford and Alma Elizabeth Strawn Tyler.

On November 21, 1979, he was united in marriage to Doris Evelyn Eagan, who survives.

Mr. Tyler honorably served his country in the United States Army in helicopter maintenance. He retired from Schering Plough where he was a printing pressman. Arnold was a member of Crump United Methodist Church in Crump, Tennessee. He was an avid hunter and fishman and loved spending time outdoors. He also loved animals and could often be found caring for the wildlife near his home.

Arnold Strawn Tyler departed this life on June 25, 2023 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 86 years and 24 days.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Doris Evelyn Tyler of Crump, Tennessee; brother, Ray Lawrence and his wife Sue; sister in law, Diane Eagan; brother in law, Frank Bellafiore; nephew, Benjamin Tyler; niece, Carla Cromwell; and great nephew, Jake Tyler.

In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Tyler and Carl Wayne Tyler and sisters, Butonne Scott and Linda Tyler.
