Arnold Dillon

Arnold Dillon was born June 11, 1916 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late James Alexander and Callie Gay Dillon.He was united in marriage to Velvie Locke Dillon.Mr. Dillon was a retired revenue officer for the State of Tennessee. He was a member of the Selmer First Baptist Church and a member of the Selmer Masonic Lodge. He was also a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University where he held his two-year degree.He departed this life on January 1, 2007 in Pope, Mississippi at the age of 90 Years, 6 Months, 21 Days. Mr. Dillon is survived by a daughter, Doris Standard and husband Jesse Lamar of Pope, Mississippi; fours sisters, Dorothy Taylor and Bertha Brown both of Selmer, Tennessee, Ruby Michael of Houston, Texas and Madge Beck of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brenda Dubois and husband William and Randy Standard and wife Dee Dee all of Batesville, Mississippi; and five great grandchildren, Chris, Dillon, Ethan, Emily, and Eli.
