Arlon Lynn Gillham

Arlon Lynn Gillham was born January 23, 1932 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Winfred and Connie Willis Gillham. He was united in marriage to Betty Meek on March 28, 1989.Mr. Gillham was a retired Corrections Officer for the State of Tennessee, and was a member of the Mt. Vinson United Methodist Church. He also served his country in the United States Army as a medic during the Korean War.Mr. Gillham departed this life on May 21, 2007 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 3 Months, 28 Days. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Betty Meek Gillham of Stantonville, Tennessee; a step-mother, Mary Gillham of Stantonville, Tennessee; a brother, Donald Gillham and wife Freda of Reagan, Tennessee; three sisters: Audrey Carroll of Sparta, Illinois, Loree Kernodle of Bethel Springs, Tennessee and Vada Waller of Stantonville, Tennessee; six nephews: David Gillham, Harold Carroll, Kenny Carroll, Eddie Carroll, John Charles Carroll and Allan Waller; five nieces: Annette Rickman and husband Dee, Joyce Monroe and husband Lawrence, April Stluts and husband Shane, Autumn Waller and Wanda Allen and husband Rick; two great-nieces: Jessica Monroe and Carrie Joyce Monroe; a great-nephew, Tyler Allen; four step-daughters and one step-son. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gillham was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Gillham.
