Arlie Reaves

ARLIE REAVES



was born in Collinwood, Tennessee on October 28, 1936 the son of Dola Flora Sherrill Reaves and the late Henry Dewey Reaves.



On October 4, 1980 he was united in marriage to the former Vickie Golden who survives. Mr. Reaves worked for General Motors and was a member of New Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Counce, Tennessee.



He departed this life on March 15, 2007 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 70 years, 4 months and 15 days.



Mr. Reaves is survived by his wife, Vickie A. Reaves of Savannah, Tennessee;

two daughters: Sharon Gail Robey of Memphis, Tennessee and Doris Lynn Banks of Collierville, Tennessee; one son, Arlie Dewayne Reaves, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee; a step-son, Jack Curtis Valian of Lake Charles, Louisiana;



eight grandchildren: Roseann Belzyt, Brian Davis, Kenneth Reaves, Joshua Schilz, Bethany Schilz, Seth Schilz, Arnold Breeding, Jr. and Arlie Dewayne Reaves, III;

six great-grandchildren: Kyle Belzyt, Aubree Belzyt, Dominic Davis, Breanna Davis, Dakota Reaves and Addison Reaves;



his mother, Flora Reaves of Savannah, Tennessee;



four sisters: Maudie Harris of Cape Canavaral, Florida, Lurie Gibson of Corinth, Mississippi, Sue Willard of Henderson, Tennessee and Jean Cates of Selmer, Tennessee;

and five brothers: James Reaves of Collinwood, Tennessee, Luther Reaves of Florence, Alabama, Jim Reaves of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Cliff Reaves of Crump, Tennessee and Clifton Reaves of Selmer, Tennessee.



In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Schilz and a sister, Hazel Smith.
