Arlene Woodard

McKenzie, TN: Graple Arlene Evans Woodard, age 86 passed away January 21, 2012 at the Ripley Rehab and Healthcare Center in Ripley, TN.
She was born at Leapwood, TN and grew up in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Donnie Guy and Zera Irene Dallas Evans. She attended schools in McNairy County. She married James Woodard in 1960. They made their home in McKenzie where she worked for Basler Electric Company in Huntingdon where she retired. Mr. Woodard died in 1999. She continued to make her home at McKenzie until about two years ago when she moved to Ripley to be near her daughter Donna. She was a member of the Enon Missionary Baptist Church in McKenzie.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Reaves of Halls, TN and Pamela Diaz of Gainesville, FL: four grandchildren, James-Michael Diaz, Joseph Anthony Diaz, Phillip Evan Reaves and Jessica Noah Reaves; a brother, Cecil Ray Evans of Jackson and two sisters, Faye Martin of Enville and Betty Davis of Lakeland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Opal Canaday and a brother, Elwood Evans.
