Arlene Whitwell

Henderson, TN: Nora Arlene Lewis Whitwell, age 87 passed away February 2, 2012 at her home.She was born in Gibson County, TN the daughter of the late Eddie Stamper and Nora Rena Garland Lewis. She was married to J. B. Whitwell in 1941. They made their home in Gibson County and moved to Whiteville in 1954 and to Henderson in 1956. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henderson. Mr. Whitwell passed away in Feb. 1998.She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Lee Bullman of Henderson, Brenda Jeffers of Remington, IN and Dale Rhodes of Henderson; ten grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.She was preceded in death by four sisters, Roberta Halbrook, Marie Bizzle, Hilda Scott and Joyce Reid and two brothers, Forrest Lewis and Fred Lewis
