She was born and reared in Bemis, TN the daughter of the late Charlie Mack and Lessie Chappel Stepp.
She was a retired nurse technician at Western State Mental Health.
She is survived by two daughter Brenda Bridges of Medon and Dawn Jones of South Carolina; a brother Wayne Stepp of Ridgely, TN and three sisters Frances Rainwater, Mildred Volner and Shirley Morgan all of Jackson; and also four grandchildren.
