Arl Davis

Henderson, TN: Arl Ervin Davis, age 94, died June 30, 2008 at Hardin County Medical Center.He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late William G. and Martha Goff Davis. He farmed most of his life and married Jessie McCann in 1933. They had made their home in Chester County since 1941. He attended the Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Henderson. He is survived by a daughter, Linda Davis Coady and husband Bobby of Luray; a son Howard Davis and wife Karen of Henderson; four grandchildren, Michael Davis of Houston, TX, Jeffrey Davis of Memphis, Joel Coady of Franklin and Bert Coady of Luray; five great grandchildren and a niece, Arlie Davis of Miami, FL.He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie McCann Davis in 1999, a daughter, Louise Davis; a son, J. Michael Davis and two brothers, Martin Davis and Marvin Davis.
