Finger, TN: Anthony "Tony" Murphy age 46 passed away Friday May 03, 2013 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Tony was born in Springfield, OH and grew up in Phoenix, AZ, the son of Richard Joseph Murphy and Anne Dillion Murphy. He attended school in Phoenix. He married Beverly Julian and they lived in the Memphis area where Anthony worked in mechanical design in both industrial and residential drafting. They made their home in Blytheville, AR where he worked in structural engineering at Tenaris. They had made their home in Finger, TN since 2009 and he worked at Bodine Aluminum in die maintenance and casting. He was baptized a Catholic.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Julian Murphy of Finger; two sons, Nicholas Michael Murphy of Sierra Vista, AZ and Chance Dalton Murphy of Finger, his parents Richard Murphy and Anne Murphy of Sierra Vista, AZ; three brothers, Bobby Ventura of Ball, Louisiana and Johnathon Joseph Murphy of Sierra, AZ and Christopher Michael Murphy of Phoenix, AZ; and two sisters; Lisa Ann Bibeau of Sierra Vista, AZ and Dana Woith of Mesa, AZ.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, May, 06 2013 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Casey - Chapel and burial to follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
