Anthony Joe Caperton

Anthony Joe (A. J. or Tony) Caperton was born May 28, 1965 in Florence, Alabama, the son of Joe Lee and Brenda Kay Williams Caperton of Iron City, TN, who survive. Anthony was a maintenance technician with Hayward Pool Products and departed this life on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 43 Year, 11 Months, 5 Days. Other than his parents, he is survived by a sister, Charlotte Caperton Kilburn and husband, Jim, of Charleston, SC; a brother, Shane Caperton of Nashville, TN; a niece, Halle Kilburn; aunts, uncles, cousins; and special friends, David Daniels, David Holt, Robin Martin, Gloria Corwin.He was preceded in death by a sister, Amy Caperton.Services will be Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton and James T. Turnbow officiating. Burial will be in the Hollis Cemetery, Holly Creek, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Shane Caperton, David Lee Caperton, Michael Caperton, Tom Butler, David Daniels, Michael Melson, Shannon Holt, Kenneth Caperton.
