Annie Lou York

Mrs. Annie Lou York was born April 18, 1936 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late James D. (Dan) and Ora L. Forsyth Cobb. Her first marriage was to Clifford Barrett. Four children were born to this union. Later in life she was married to Howard F. York, who preceded her in death on October 11, 1991. Mrs. York was a Homemaker.Mrs. York departed this life on October 7, 2005 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 5 Months, 19 Days. She is survived by a son, Johnny E. Plunk of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; two daughters: Betty L. Hicks of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, and Florence E. Mitchell and husband Bo of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; two brothers: David A. Cobb of Benton Harbor, Michigan, and James W. Cobb of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; four sisters: Bernice L. Faulkner of Alamo, Tennessee, Alice E. Brown of Selmer, Tennessee, Pauline E. Head of Middleton, Tennessee, and Etta M. Faulkner of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; her ex-husband, Clifford Barrett of Selmer, TN; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. York was preceded in death by a son, James V. Barnett, a brother, Billy W. Cobb, and a grandson, Howard F. Duvall.
