Resident of Dowagiac, MichiganAnnie's life began on September 12, 1919 in Savannah, Tennessee; the daughter of James "Will" and Cecil Alexander Wolfe. She was united in marriage to James "Willie" Shelby on April 16, 1940 in Corinth, Mississippi. Annie worked for Flams Pickle Factory in Eau Claire, Michigan for 40 years and retired from their laboratory. Her family was very important to Annie and they included her two sons Carl D. and his wife Janice Shelby of Dowagiac, Michigan and Jimmy F. and his wife Betty Shelby of Benton Harbor, Michigan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters Mary Welch and Frankie Kendrick of Tennesse and Willasee Yokum of Mississippi and one brother Dee Wolfe of Tennessee. Annie passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 and was preceded in death by her husband Willie Shelby in 1986.
