Annie Maxine Redden was born October 21, 1920 in Chester County, Tn the daughter of the late Bertha Haynes Melton.She was united in marriage to Faye Redden in 1937.
Mrs. Redden was a Supervisor for the enviromental services at Jackson Madison County General Hospital retiring in 1989. Prior to that she worked at Salant & Salant Shirt Factory in Henderson. She was a member of the Sanford Hill Baptist Church in Henderson.
Mrs.Redden departed this life on January 11, 2013 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 2 Months, 21 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Norma Jean Cummings of Henderson, TN; a son, Mike Redden and wife Dorothy of Henderson, TN; two sisters, Faye Bennett of Winona, MS, Ruby Boatman of Florence, SC; four grandchildren, Payton Redden and wife Shelly, Wesley Redden and wife Jessica, Mitzi Hatch and husband Mike, Chris Cummings; 11 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Mrs.Redden was preceded in death by her husband Fay Redden in 1975, a son, Donald Redden; two sisters, Mable Varner, Mary Earl Smith; two brothers, James Melton, Ed Melton.
Services will be held on January 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Rev Elmer Cole, Rev Stacy McCollum officiating. Burial will follow in the Sweet Lips Cemetery at Henderson, Tennessee
