Annie Lee Oakley Murphy
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on January 13, 1955 the daughter of the late Bernis and Opal Blackwelder Oakley.
Annie had worked as a cook in the cafeteria at Parris South Elementary School in Savannah, Tennessee. She was a member of Mountain View Church of Christ. In her spare time Annie enjoyed drawing, painting, crocheting, baking, cooking, gardening, quilting, cross stitching, and cross knitting.
She departed this life on Monday, July 18, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 6 months, and 5 days.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Andrea Murphy of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Dorothy Durbin and Linda Stricklin both of Savannah, Tennessee; and brother, E.B.(Tubby) Oakley of Pulaski, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Leon Oakley.
