Mrs. Mosier died at her home Friday, May 16, 2008 after a long illness. She was born in Hardeman County, October 12, 1919, the daughter of the late James P. and Leatha Ann Rhodes Davis and her step mother Martha Hammers Davis. She was a member of the Clover Creek Baptist Church in Medon for many years and sang in the choir until her health started to fail. Mrs. Mosier is survived by two sons; William Edward Mosier (Martha) of Teague, TN and Ronnie Glenn Mosier (Patsy) of Bethel Springs, TN; two daughters, Shirley Jean Patten (Curtis) and Ann Helton (S.C. “Shortyâ€), and a daughter-in law, Frances Mosier all of Medon; eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a niece, Mary Laney and a nephew, Bobby Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arbie Mosier (1980) a son James “Bup†Mosier (2005), a grandson, William Lynn Mosier and a brother, Willard Davis.
