Annie L. Morgan

Annie “Maw” L. Yager Morgan, 72, of Moscow, died Sunday, May 7, 2006 at her home near Como, Miss.



The widow of Samuel M. Morgan, who died in December 1991, she retired as a production worker at Wurlitzer Piano in Holly Springs, Miss. Mrs. Morgan was born October 7, 1933 in Moscow, daughter of the late Thomas L. Yager and Bertha Mae Tice Yager and lived most of her life in Fayette County and north Mississippi. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church near Moscow.



Services were 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Don Wilson officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.



Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Savage of Murfreesboro and Mona Warren of Como, Miss.; four grandsons, Jarrod and Jonathan Hailey, Bradley and Jerry Wilson; two great grandaughters, Morgan Wilson and Hannah Hailey and one step-great grandaughter, Taylor White. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia A. Hailey.
