Annie McClintock age 92 of Pocahontas, passed from this life Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah.
Miss McClintock was born November 6, 1920 in Pocahontas to James William and Ella Emerson Jones McClintock. She attended Pocahontas School 10 years before attending Middleton High School where she was a member of the BETA club and the class of 1939. A member of Oak Grove Independent Methodist Church in Pocahontas, she loved to read the Bible. She was a hard worker and had been a farmer, worked for Harman Automotive, Western State Mental Health Institute, Martin Manufacturing, Weavers Pants Factory and Mitchell Shirt Factory. She lived in the house she was born in all her life.
She is survived by 3 sisters, Lois Townsend of Killen, AL, Gladys Ragan of Walnut, MS, and Josephine McGee of Pocahontas; and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Billy and Frank McClintock.
