Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 20, 1926 the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Margaret Elizabeth Vanhoose Johns.
On December 22, 1945 she was united in marriage to William A. Franks, who preceded his wife in death on January 5, 2000.
Mrs. Franks was a factory worker and a homemaker. She attended Pyburn Union Church.
Mrs. Franks departed this life on December 25, 2006 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 5 days.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Rose and her husband, Bobby of Savannah, Tennessee.
One son, Jimmy Franks and his wife Patricia of Counce, Tennessee.
3 grandchildren, Regina Arnold, Dennis Rose and Rhonda Franks.
