Annie Higgins Dixon
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on January 7, 1905 the daughter of the late Benny and Betty Siner Higgins.
She was united in marriage to Howard Dixon, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Dixon was a homemaker.
She departed this life on February 5, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 102 years and 29 days.
Mrs. Dixon is survived by four daughters: Hattie Dixon, Georgia Dixon, Inez Dixon and Roberta Yarbro and one son, Robert Lee Dixon, all of Savannah, Tennessee;
23 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Maudie Faye Moore and Annie Laura Dillihunt; two sons: James Howard Dixon and
R.D. Dixon; seven grandchildren; two sisters: Lena Higgins and Lillie Higgins;
and four brothers: Gaston Higgins, Jack Higgins, Sr., Levy Higgins and Grady Higgins
