ANNIE JO CAPERTON
Was born in Chester County, Tennessee on May 7, 1928 the daughter of the late Joe Wesley and Pearlie Ethel Clement Griffin.
On June 28, 1947 she was united in marriage to Elmer Junior Caperton, who preceded his wife in death February 28, 2004.
Mrs. Caperton was a homemaker and a member of Barnhill Methodist Church.
She departed this life on June 9, 2006 at Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 2 days.
Mrs. Caperton is survived by one daughter, Doris DeBerry of Counce, Tennessee and 2 sons, Dennis W. Caperton of Memphis, Tennessee and Billy J. Caperton of Counce, Tennessee.
3 grandchildren, Joey Phillips, Kevin Phillips and Elizabeth Woodruff.
4 great-grandchildren, Kellen, Kade, Weston and Grace Phillips
Mrs. Caperton was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Hollis and Robert Griffin.
