Anna Mae Stanley

Mrs. Stanley passed away Thursday morning, December 15 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.



The widow of Wayne Stanley, who died on June 7, 1973, she was a homemaker and former furniture store owner. She was born May 10, 1925 to James Cyrus Long and Rosalee Burnett Long and lived in Memphis, Mountain View, Missouri and Tampa, Florida prior to moving here in 1995. She was a former member of the Grand Valley Ladies Club and Grand Valley Red Hat Society and was active in one of the Grand Valley Bunko Clubs. Mrs. Stanley was a member of West Memorial Baptist Church.



Survivors include two daughters, Judi Long (Ed) of Saulsbury and Cynthia Stanley (Erich Schultz) of Byhalia, Miss.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Davis and Eddie Long; four great grandchildren, Kayla, Allison, Emily and Austin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married on December 29, 1948, and her parents.
