Anna Lou Phillips

Anna Lou Kerby Phillips was born January 28, 1922 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late William Turman and Anna Gage Kerby.She was united in marriage to Leonard W. Phillips on March 29, 1946. Mr. Phillips preceded her in death on April 20, 2002.Mrs. Phillips was a member of the Highland Heights Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee. She loved knitting, genealogy and was a care giver for her son Terry for many years . Mrs. Phillips departed this life on January 22, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 11 Months, 25 Days.She is survived by a daughter, Jane McKell and husband Robert of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Terry Phillips of Memphis, TN; a grandchild, Brian Wilson of Memphis, TN; a grt-grandchild, Erryn Wilson; nephews, Gary Kerby and wife Terrie of Selmer, TN, Rex Phillips and wife Elaine of Henderson, TN; and a host of great neices, nephews and other relatives.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Kerby and a brother, Joe Kerby.Services were held on January 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee, Deacon Jim Gray of St. Jude Catholic Church officiated. Burial followed in the Lake Hill Memorial Gardens at Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
