Anna Belle Hooton

January 22, 1913 — November 29, 2006

She is survived by a son Jerry Parrish and wife Suellen of Lubbock, TX and a daughter Estelle Maxwell and husband Jim of Henderson; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and also her caregiver Sherry Roark of Henderson.

She was born and reared in Hansford County, TX, the daughter of the late Edgar and Nannie Barnes Williams. She was married to Gordon Parrish in 1937 and they made their home in Borger and Spearman, TX. Where they owned and operated Gordon’s Drug in Spearman. Mr. Parrish died in 1978. She later moved to Altus, OK and was married to Hulen Hooton and they made their home there until his death in 1983. She made her home in Glenwood Springs, CO until she moved to Henderson in 1998 to make her home near her daughter Estelle. She was very active in the Henderson Church of Christ and the weekly Ladies Bible Study Class and volunteered to help with the weekly church bulletins. She was a member of the Chester County Senior Citizens.
