Ann T. Morrow
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on September 19, 1932 the daughter of the late Lon and Ruth Russell Talley.
In 1952 she was united in marriage to Winford Morrow. He preceded her in death July 1963.
Mrs. Morrow was the owner of The Furniture Barn, an antique and novelty sales business. She had also owned a grocery store, auction house and was an independent property developer. She invested her life in ministering to people through local churches. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Jack Gean Shelter, were she considered all the staff and residents her family.
Mrs. Morrow departed this life on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the age of 79 years, 5 months, 18 days.
She is survived by 2 sons, Tony Morrow and wife Karen R. of Tupelo, Mississippi, James Gary Morrow and wife Brandy of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Karen S. Morrow of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Charlie Morrow and wife Mallory, Molly Morrow, Kaeli Morrow, Joshua Powell, and Sarah Powell; a sister, Grace Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee; a brother, Frank Talley and wife Patsy of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Paul Morrow on January 4, 2001; 3 brothers, Carl Talley, Lon Talley, and Larry Jack Talley; a brother-in-law, Bob Taylor.
