Jacks Creek, TN: Maudie Ann Taylor Green age 53 passed away March 1, 2020 at her home.
She was born February 24, 1967 in Bolivar, TN the daughter of Maudie Nell Pollock Taylor and the late Prentiss Harold Taylor. She grew up and attended school in Chester County. She met Gary Green, Sr. at age twelve and they married on Feb. 25, 1983 after courting for several years. They made their home in Chester County, Ann was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, playing Bingo and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She attended the Church of God at Pinson before her health limited her attendance.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Green, Sr. of Jacks Creek; her mother, Maudie Nell Pollock Taylor; two sons, Gary Green Jr. (Tonya) of Scotts Hill and Chester Green (girlfriend Shawna) of Jacks Creek and two daughters, Jennifer Poole (Chad) of Henderson and Felicia Jean Green of Jacks Creek; grandchildren, Joshua Green. Bryanna Zachow, Branden Green, Derrick Lewis, Ruth Green, Trey Zachow, Lance Green, Corey Green, Conner Green and Jerrid Poole; four brothers, Donnie Ray Pollock (Kim), James Taylor (Sheila), Charles Taylor all of Henderson and Thomas Taylor (Tammy) of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father, a grandchild, Felicia Jean Green, Jr. and a sister, Charlotte Taylor.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Pastor James McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday.
