Angela Gail (Angie) Pope Ellison of Waynesboro, TN was born November 27, 1970 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of J. D. Pope and the late Elcie Marie Reeves Pope. Mrs. Ellison departed this life on Thursday, February 6, 2020 in Waynesboro, Tennessee in an automobile accident at the age of 49 Years, 2 Months, 10 Days.
She was united in marriage to Curtis Mitchell Ellison on June 6, 1998.
Angie will always be remembered by her personality and beautiful smile that could light an entire room. She attended the Mount Calvary Full Gospel Church in Olive Hill, Tennessee.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis Mitchell Ellison of Waynesboro, TN, her father and stepmother, J. D. and Nell Pope of Clifton, TN; brother, Steve Lynn Pope, wife, Sonya of Clifton, TN; sisters, Doris Allen of Clifton, TN and Kay Burns and Tracy Martin, husband, Ricky of Waynesboro, TN; half-sister, Ruth Hooper of Waynesboro, TN; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, Amy Morrow, husband, Steve, Daniel Allen, wife, Ashley, great-niece, Addison, Jennifer Henderson, husband, Jerroll, great-niece, Alanie, great-nephew, Dylan Henderson, Matthew Burns, Chris Burns, Beverly Long, husband, Chase, Johnathan Pope, Coby Pope, Marcie Hankins, Kimberley Russell, Allie Rhodes,Kaytlen Lambombard, Jasmine Brassfield, Morgan Hankins, Hayden Rhodes, Hadley Rhodes.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Ellison was preceded in death by grandparents, Jeff and Dottie Mae Reeves and John Wesley and Nora Lee Pope.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Geneva Middleton and Luke Calton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens,Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assiting the family. Pallbearers will be Anthony Reeves, Chris Burns, Matthew Burns, Stanley Lacroyx, Gerald Henderson and Jerry Wayne Pitts.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm and Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 8:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
