Anelle Lewis

Anelle Lockman Lewis was born February 23, 1916 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Wiley and Arizona Mitchell Lockman. She was united in marriage to George Lewis in 1966. Mrs. Lewis worked as a secretary for the CNA Life Insurance Company before she retired. Some of her favorite pastimes were cooking, traveling, taking pictures, and most of all she loved to spend time with her family. She was baptist in faith.Mrs. Lewis departed this life on May 17, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 97 Years, 2 Months, 24 Days. She is survived by a step-daughter, Sam McCormic of Castro Valley, CA; nephew, James Timothy Lockman and wife Charlotte of Southaven, MS; great niece, Tima Smith and husband Michael of Southaven, MS; great nephew, James Trae Lockman and wife Crissie of Southaven, MS.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by brother, Woodson Lockman.
