Andrew Jr. West of the Burns Chapel community of Iron City, TN was born February 2, 1948 in Cypress Inn, TN, the son of the late Andrew Johnson and Ruby Jewell Holt West. He was united in marriage to Patricia Joan Guyton on July 12, 1969.
Mr. West was a heavy equipment operator and barber. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Southern Wayne County Wagon Club.
Mr. West departed this life on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at his home after an extended illness at the age of 64 Years, 9 Months, 26 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Joan Guyton West; a son, Andy West and wife, Shannon; daughters, Angela Littrell and husband, Jeff and Amanda West and friend, Brent Daniel; grandchildren, Zachary and Miranda Stults, Sadie and Andrew West, Makayla and Toby Littrell all of Iron City, TN; brothers, Billy West of Iron City, TN, Preston West of Cypress Inn, TN; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. West was preceded in death by brothers, Ellis and Glenn West and sister, Annie West.
Services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
Pallbearers will be members of the Southern Wayne County Wagon Club.
