ANDREW SAUERWINwas born in Jefferson County, Indiana on February 8, 1935 the son of the late James Arthur Sauerwin and Loretta Louise Gaylord.On October 14, 1966 he was united in marriage to Cora Lee DeShazier, who preceded her husband in death on October 6, 2008.Mr. Sauerwin was a retired tow boat deck hand. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Sauerwin was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church.He departed this life on October 19, 2010 in Greenville, Missouri at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 11 days.Mr. Sauerwin is survived by 4 daughters, Brenda Sanders and Glenda Daugherty, both of Selmer, Tennessee, Wanda Hartle of Savannah, Tennessee and Loretta Cowgill of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.2 sons, Marlyon Rainey of Savannah, Tennessee and Ricky Rainey of Lyles, Tennessee16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildrenone sister, Elizabeth Augustus and one brother, James Sauerwin, both of Paducah, Kentucky.Mr. Sauerwin was also preceded in death by one great grandson, Jax Leiwalo, one sister, Martha Jane Falsoll and one brother, Arthur Albert Sauerwin.
