Andrew J. Mitchell

Andrew J. Mitchell was born November 2, 1913 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late John Neely and Inez G. Hooper Mitchell and He was united in marriage to Mattie Moore Kiestler .Mr. Mitchell was a Retired Farmer. He was also a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, a McNairy County Democratic Committeeman, Avid Farmer and former member of the Civilian Conservation Corps.Mr. Mitchell departed this life on January 3, 2007 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 2 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by three daughters,Sandra Dale Daily of Cordova, Tennessee, , Dottie Darnell and Shirley Wyatt both of Lakeland, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, Debra Larkin of Eads, Tennessee, Torri Davis of Collierville, Tennessee, Cindy Hardin of Memphis, Tennessee and Jill Dyles of Bartlett, Tennessee, and five great-grandchildren;Crystal Schwab, Heather Reynolds, Ashley Larkin, Jack Dyles and Alexa Dyles. Other than his wife and parents he was preceded in death by three brothers,Howard Mitchell, Wade Mitchell, and Hooper Mitchell.
