Ancil F. Hosea

Ancil F. Hoseawas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 17, 1925 the son of the late Floyd Conward and Daisy Lenora Rich Hosea.On August 15, 1946 he was united in marriage to Gladys Marie Tidwell, who survives.Mr. Hosea was a veteran of the United States Army, and was a self-employed sawmill owner and farmer. He loved working horses and mules. He was a member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.Mr. Hosea departed this life on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the age of 83 years, 7 months, 27 days.In addition to his wife, Mr. Hosea is survived by a son, Ancil Reece Hosea of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 sisters: Frankie Jerrolds of Savannah, Tennessee and Patsy Droke of Sheffield, Alabama; 4 grandchildren: Rodney Hosea, Jeffrey Hosea, Jason Hosea, and Blake Hosea; 9 great-grandchildren: Ethan Hosea, Adrienne Hosea, Sydney Hosea, Heidi Hosea, Reecey Hosea, Jordan Hosea, Heather McGowen, Kaden Wilkerson, and Kaleb Wilkerson.
