Amy Dee Hester

Amy Dee Hester was born April 29, 1915 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Amos and Nora Brown Wilson.She was united in marriage to D. C. Hester on July 31, 1931. Mr. Hester preceded her in death on June 23, 2008.Mrs. Hester was a Homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Finger, Tennessee and taught Sunday School for 40 years. She departed this life on August 29, 2008 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 4 Months.She is survived by a daughter, Dee McIntyre and husband J.R. of Adamsville, TN; a son, Ray Hester and wife Betty of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Pearl Johnson of Bethel Springs, TN; four grandchildren, Pam Burrow of South Fulton, TN, Paula Chandler of Adamsville, TN, Ricky Hester of Bethel Springs, TN and Randy Hester of Bethel Springs, TN; six great grandchildren, John Burrow, Alex Burrow, Matt Hester, Jay Chandler, Randa Hester and Abbey Hester.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hester was preceded in death by four sisters, Irene Cobb, Jewell Moore, Merty Smith and Eva Gardner; two brothers, Arlie and J. W. Wilson.
