Amy Ava Dallas was born November 16, 1907 in Adamsville, Tennessee the daughter of the late Samuel Franklin and Minnie Bell Comer Droke.
She was united in marriage to Lonnie Lee Dallas on December 25, 1928. Mr.Dallas preceded her in death on November 29, 1987.
Mrs. Dallas was a homemaker, member of the Finger Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening in the summer, quilting in the winter and lived near Finger, Tennessee all her life.
Mrs. Dallas departed this life on June 5, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 99 Years, 6 Months, 20 Days. She is survived by a son, Duel Dallas and wife Vonnie of Cordova, Tennessee; two daughters, Wilma Woodward and husband Vernon of Chelsea, Michigan and Maxine Howell of Finger, Tennessee with whom she made her home with in recent years; six grandchildren, Richard Howell of Henderson, Tennessee, Sherri Busby of Lexington, Tennessee, Kurt Dallas and wife Patti of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Russell Dallas and wife Julie of Cordova, Tennessee, Larry Woodward and wife Wendy of Grass Lake, Michigan, Sabrina O'Neil and husband Keith of Chelsea, Michigan; twelve great grandchildren, Lauren Dallas, Tyler Dallas, Abigail Dallas, Audrey Dallas, Kevin Howell and wife Rosalyn, Kenneth Howell and wife Amy, Amanda Foster, Wendy Busby, Tara-Sky Alford and husband Matt, Bruce Woodward, Amanda O'Neil, and Kevin O'Neil; three great great grandchildren, Logan Howell, Karah Brynn Howell, and Aubrey Alford.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Dallas was preceded in death by a grandson,Anthony Woodward; five sisters,Geneva Allen, Zellie Spencer, Athleena Barnes, Rebecca Burross, and Zula Burkhead; three brothers, Lester Droke, Jim Droke, and Aaron Droke.
