AMBER ALEXANDER

Henderson: Amber Lea Alexander, age 24, died at her home Sunday morning, May 30th, 2010.



Amber was born in Jackson and moved to Henderson in 1988. She graduated from Chester County High School in 2004. She had worked a short time at The Chester County Independent and she was a member of the Sanford Hill Baptist Church.



She is survived by her parents: James Michael ‘Mike’ and Patricia Lewelling Alexander of Henderson. She has a brother Justin Michael Alexander with the U. S. Army in Fort Campbell, KY. She is also survived by her grandparents: Lester and Norma Lewelling of Jackson and Carol Jean Alexander of Southaven, MS.



Surviving aunts and uncles are: Sally and Ken Darby of Jackson, James and Pat Lewelling of Jackson, Tom and Kathy Lewelling of Jackson, Larry Lewelling of Pleasant View, TN and Mary Ayotte of Memphis and surviving cousins are Megan and Kenny Darby and Taylor and Morgan Lewelling.



She was preceded in death by grandparents; Beatrice Lewelling, Mary Moss, and Jimmy Alexander, and an aunt Vera Cole and an uncle Dee Lewelling.



Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at Sanford Hill Baptist Church with Bobby Russ and Gary Roeder officiating and burial will follow at Independence Cemetery in Henderson County.



Members of the Henderson Fire Department and officer Tim Crowe will serve as honorary pall bearers.



The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday and Wednesday morning until 11:00 AM. Amber will lie in state at the Sanford Hill Church from noon Wednesday until funeral time.
