Alvin Dees

Alvin Dees, age 78, died March 14, 2008 at Lexington Manor. He was born June 28, 1929 in Chester County, the son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Nancy Lucynthin Maness Dees. He attended schools in Chester County. He farmed with his father and went into the U.S. Army in January 1951 and was stationed in Germany and discharged in December 1952. He returned to Henderson and went to work for Farmers Supply on Front Street, worked at Johnson and Johnson in Chicago and later for Sears and Roebuck Company for 20 plus years and retired in 1988. He was a avid dog lover.He is survived by a brother, Travis Dees of Chicago, IL and a sister, Jo Ann Dees of Jacks Creek, TN and several nieces and nephews.
