Alva Dee Hurst

Alva Dee Hurst was born September 13, 1948 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Loyce and Venice May Hurst.Mr. Hurst was self-employed as a timber cutter in the Logging industry before he was disabled in an accident while working. He was a member of the Henderson church of Christ, having been baptized in the pool at Freed-Hardeman University. Mr. Hurst departed this life on March 4, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 5 Months, 19 Days. He is survived by a son, Michael Hurst of Selmer, Tennessee; three brothers: Douglas Hurst and wife Betty of Hornsby, Tennessee, Jerry Hurst and wife Debbie of Enville, Tennessee and Eugene Hurst and wife Caroline of McNairy, Tennessee; two sisters: Hazel Teague and husband William of Ramer, Tennessee and Wanda McNeil of McNairy, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, Mr. Hurst was also preceded in death two brothers, Harold Hurst and Howard Lee Hurst, and a brother-in-law, Milburn McNeil.
