Alta Coy Parker

Alta Coy Morgan Parker was born August 20, 1921 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Coy and Mary Davis Morgan.She was married Ben Frank Parker on January 8, 1936 and he preceded her in death on August 15, 1985. Mrs. Parker departed this life on May 20, 2008 in Columbia, Tennessee at NHC Hillview at the age of 86 Years, 9 Months.Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and was a member of the Northside Baptist in Columbia, Tennessee.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Grace (Morgan) Parker, Mrs. Billie Jean (Morgan) Landrum. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martha (Parker) Fite and husband Frank of Columbia, TN; four sons, Mr. Tom Frank Parker of Cheyenne, WY, Mr. John Morgan Parker and wife, Rebekah of NC, Mr. Jerry Ben Parker and wife Debbie of Rock Island, TN, Mr. Michael Clay Parker and wife Susan of Johnston, IA; six grandchildren, Mr. Sam Parker, Mr. John Fite III and wife Rachael, Mrs. Stacey Elan and husband Steven, Miss. Emily Parker, Miss. Cheryl Fite, Mrs. Frann (Fite) Mabry and husband, Will; two great-grandchildren, Briar Fite Mabry and William Blair Mabry; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
