Services for Estelle Warrington Robbins, 85, Collinwood, TN, were Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 1:30 pm at Lutts Methodist Church, Lutts, TN, with Murray Parker and Jerry Robbins officiating. Burial was in Lutts Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
She died at Maury Regional Hospital, Columbia, TN, Friday, April 7, 2006.
Mrs. Robbins, a native of Lutts, TN, was a homemaker but taught school for five years during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, unit #254, Collinwood. She was a member of Lutts Methodist Church, was a former Sunday School teacher and song leader at Copeland’s Chapel Methodist Church, and was a former active member of Collinwood Senior Citizens where she enjoyed quilting.
Mrs. Robbins was a daughter of the late Elmer Allen and Myrtle Morrow Warrington, the wife of the late Fred Robbins, and a sister of the late James E. Warrington, Edward Warrington, and Nannie Webb.
Survivors, daughters, Peggy (Gary) Monroe, Collinwood, TN, Rebecca Frances (Stanley) Boyd, Linden, TN, grandchildren, Bill and Johnathan Monroe, Amelia Carlson, Sabrina Young, Erica Boyd, great-grandchild, Karlie Grace Monroe, sister, Maude Marie McGee, Lawrenceburg, TN, nieces and nephews.
