Alma Cromwell Gant

Alma Cromwell Gant, 95, of Adamsville, died September 26th at Tri-County Convalescent Home at Adamsville. She was the daughter of Edmond and America Shelby Cromwell.
On May 13, 1927 she was united in marriage to Aubrey Gant who preceded her in death on June 19, 1980. She was a homemaker and member of Crump Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Naoma Feathers and Mildred Churchwell of Adamsville, three sons, Kenneth Wayne Gant of Bartlett, Tennessee, Jamie Forrest Gant of Adamsville, Tennessee and Joe Gant of Waycross, Georgia, ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, America Ruth Gant, five brothers, Herbert, Jamie, L.V., Gilbert and Lon Cromwell, and one sister, Ismal.
She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
