Allen A. Boy Ellis

Allen A. Boy Ellis was born January 10, 1931, in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, the son of the late William Calvin Ellis and the late Jessie Humphrey Ellis.He was a retired supervisor for the McNairy County Highway Department, a U. S. Army Korean veteran and a member of the VFW.Mr. Ellis departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2006 in Selmer, at the age of 75 Years, 4 Months, 1 Day.Survivors are his son Pete D. Ellis and wife Shirley of Hilton Head, South Carolina; daughters Teresa Hopson and husband Terry of Carbon Hill, Alabama and Brenda Strickland and husband Grant of Bainbridge, Georgia; sisters Jewell Clayton Coker and Mae Sanders of Selmer, Tennessee, June Hill and Martha Whitehurst of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, and Freida Holland of South Bend, Indiana.Grandchildren Angelia Ellis, Cameron Ellis, Crystal Ballard, Cory Ballard, Chad Kyle, Teila Kyle, Jessica Boyett, Marvin Strickland
