Allan Lee Smith

Allan Lee Smith departed this life on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at the age of 71 years, 3 months, and 6 days. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 18, 1945, the son of the late Calvin and Bessie Hudson Smith. On December 3, 1966, he was united in marriage to Brenda Stanford, who survives.

Allan was originally from Detroit, Michigan but was raised in the Old Union Community in Tennessee. He was a veteran of the United States Army. For over 40 years he had done carpentry work and retired from R & D Fixtures. Allan enjoyed fishing, hunting, visiting with family, wood working and building furniture. He was a member of the Grace Sanctuary.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Timothy Lee Smith of Michie, Tennessee and Donna Michelle Smith of Franklin, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kyle Smith, Megan Smith, and Eden Smith; brother, James Paul Smith of Arizona; and sister, Ruby Smith of Nevada.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mable Franks and Margaret James.
