ALICE R. WATTS STRICKLIN
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 27, 1923 the daughter of the late Isaac Shelton and Elida Martha Hardin Reed.
On September 2, 1944 she was united in marriage to Howard S. Watts, Sr., who preceded his wife in death on January 21, 1970. On January 1, 1977 she was united in marriage to Odell Stricklin, who preceded her in death on November 2, 1992.
Mrs. Stricklin was manager for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. She was a member of Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Stricklin departed this life on November 12, 2006 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 16 days.
She is survived by 2 sons, Howard S. Watts, Jr. of Brentwood, Tennessee and Jarrett S. Watts of Ashland City, Tennessee.
3 grandchildren, Keith H. Watts, Ashley Lain Watts and Jarrett Nathan Watts
One great-grandchild, Matthew Watts
Mrs. Stricklin was also preceded in death by one sister, Rilla Steward and 4 brothers, Ernest, Dayton, Parker and Joe Walker Reed.
